North and East Syria representatives abroad meet with Syriac Union Party in Zalin

ZALIN, Syria — On Tuesday, Co-Chairs of the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria Sanharib Barsoum and Nazira Goreya received a delegation from the Foreign Relations Directorate of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria at SUP headquarters in Zalin (Qamishli).

The delegation included DAA Representative in France Khaled Issa, DAA Representative in Scandinavia Shiyar Ali, DAA Representative in the Kurdistan region of Iraq (KRI) Norshan Hussein, and DAA Representative in Switzerland Hekmat Ibrahim.

The visiting delegation gave an overview of their work in the countries in which they operate, including their relations with governments and organizations that are working towards a democratic and secure future for Syria.

The SUP, in turn, thanked the visiting delegation for all their work and for their visit to SUP headquarters. The party also stressed the importance of continuous communication and cooperation to achieve the shared goals of all the peoples of the region.

The two sides also discussed the latest developments in Syria and DAA regions, as well as the importance of representing political and national components within the DAA representations abroad.
