IRAQ: Beth Nahrain Organization for Women visits Al-Touba Center for Elderly Women in Baghdede
BAGHDEDE, Iraq — A delegation from the Beth Nahrain Organization for Women (BNOW), headed by the organization’s officer Hanan Matti Touma, visited Al-Touba Center for Elderly Women in Baghdede in Nineveh Plains in Iraq.
During the meeting, the delegation met head of the center Masir Amira and the elderly women residing there.
The BNOW delegation wished the women good health and asked about how they were doing given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The delegation also presented gifts to the elderly women and a plaque to the center headquarters, on which a verse from the Bible was written: “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink.”
