A Constitution to Protect Us: Ezdina Organization in Zalin in North and East Syria organizes dialogue session
ZALIN, Syria — Co-Chair of the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria Sanharib Barsoum participated in a dialogue seminar held by the Ezdina Organization in Zalin (Qamishli) in North and East Syria entitled “A Constitution to Protect Us”.
Representatives of different political parties from all the components of North and East Syria, including Syriacs (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldeans), Arabs, Kurds, and Yezidis, participated in this dialogue session.
The session included discussions on political issues related to the current situation in the region and concluded with recommendations and actionable outputs.
Many of the recommendations concerned the current lack of inclusive representation in the Constitutional Committee convening in Geneva.
