Khabur Sports Club wins Syrian Football League

DARAMSUQ (DAMASCUS) – After an unbeaten run of league wins, the Khabur Sports Club won the 2021 Syrian Football League Championship. The women of Khabur defeated rival Homs 2-0 in Daramsuq (Damascus) in a final match on April 1.

Some of Khabur Club’s players have been crowned best player and goalkeeper in the Women’s League.

The Khabur club is one of the Syriac-Assyrian clubs that has maintained its presence in the country and has a distinguished long history in Syrian football.
