BREAKING: Iraqi Security Forces free Chaldean man kidnapped in Baghdad on Tuesday evening

BAGHDAD — Iraqi Security Forces managed to free Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian Ramsin Boutros al-Bazi after he was kidnapped by two people from his home in Al-Zafaraniya district in Baghdad yesterday evening. He was taken to an area in Diyala Governorate by car where he was tortured by his captors.

Diyala Governorate Police confirmed the arrest of one of the kidnappers, who will be brought before the judiciary. The second kidnapper has fled to an unknown location.
