Delegation of Beth Nahrin National Council representatives partake in Easter festivities in North and East Syria
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — A delegation of representatives from the institutions of the Beth Nahrin National Council (MUB) in Syria participated in Easter celebrations held in the Dayrik (Al-Malikiyah), Qabre Hewore, Zalin (Qamishli), and Hasakah.
The delegation also made several visits to offer congratulations on the occasion of Easter to communities of Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian—Chaldean) people across North and East Syria, church councils of the Syriac Orthodox Church, and the Sutoro (Syriac Security Forces).
In related news, the Syriac Union Party (SUP) received at its headquarters in Zalin several official delegations from institutions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA), political parties, and civil organizations who came to offer congratulations on the Feast of the Glorious Resurrection. The visiting delegations wished for the Feast to bring joy and peace to the whole world and for the ethnic and religious unity in North and East to spread throughout the country and end the Syrian crisis.
