ISIS member arrested in Australia after arriving from Turkey

MELBOURNE — Australian anti-terrorism authorities revealed that they have arrested a person on charges of joining the ranks of the Islamic State (ISIS), reported the The Guardian.

The authorities stated that Mohamed Zuhbi was arrested at Melbourne International Airport after arriving on a flight from Turkey.

Zuhbi faces charges of supporting a terrorist organization, engaging in terrorist activities abroad, and assisting other foreigners in joining ISIS.

He is also reportedly wanted by U.S. authorities on charges of committing multiple crimes, including conspiracy to commit murder in a foreign country.
