IRAQ: Delegation from Beth Nahrain Organization for Women visits mayor of Baghdedein Nineveh Plans

BAGHDEDE, Iraq — A delegation from the Beth Nahrain Organization for Women (BNOW) visited Mayor of Baghdede District Issam Behnam Matti to extend belated Easter congratulations and discuss the organization’s ongoing projects in the town.

The visiting delegation included BNOW head Hanan Matti Touma, BNOW Relations Officer Hadeel Mansour Boutros, and BNOW Health Officer Sandra Behnam Mansour.

During the meeting, they touched on the most important activities that BNOW held in the service of society and women, as well as BNOW’s continuous educational activities and courses, despite the difficulties, especially the coronavirus pandemic.

Matti indicated that successful work requires experience, perseverance, and honesty and stressed that persistence and determination are the basis for the success of any project.

The two sides also reviewed the most important projects that were implemented after the return of displaced people to the Nineveh Plains and their important role in facilitating stability and a return to normality.

At the end of the meeting, they wished each other success in all actions and decisions issued for the benefit of society.
