Syriac Union Party in Syria congratulates Bethnahrain Patriotic Union Party in Iraq on 25th anniversary of its founding

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — On the 25th anniversary of founding the Bethnahrain Patriotic Union Party (Huyodo d-Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA) in Iraq, the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria issued a statement congratulating the party:

“We in the Syriac Union Party in Syria are pleased to extend our warmest congratulations to the Bethnahrain Patriotic Union Party in Iraq on the anniversary of its founding. We wish HBA members and leadership more success, positive developments, and the achievement of their goals, including ensuring the full rights of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people and other national and religious components.

The HBA has always been the voice of truth and steadfastness in the face of all those who stand in the way of these noble and humanitarian goals — towards building the nation on democratic foundations and achieving equality of rights and duties among all.”
