Twenty members of Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria graduate from community police training
QABRE HEWORE, Syria — Twenty members of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of North and East Syria graduated from a training course on community policing in Qabre Hewore (Al-Qahtaniyah) on Thursday. The course covered principles of basic inspection, conflict resolution techniques, and recognizing the hallmarks of organized crime activity. The five-day course included ISF and Sutoro (Syriac Security Forces) personal from across Gozarto Region.
The graduation ceremony was attended by representatives of the Interior Authority in Gozart (Jazira) Region. The ceremony began with a minute of silence to commemorate the souls of martyrs, which was followed by several speeches congratulating the graduates. Officials praised the important role these courses play in professionalizing and advancing the work of the ISF so they can better serve their communities.
