St Jacob of Nisibis Fraternity organizes children’s basketball league in Zalin (Qamishli) in North and East Syria to promote youth sports
ZALIN, Syria — The Mor Yacoub of Nisibis fraternity in Zalin (Qamishli) in North and East Syria organized a children’s basketball league to encourage youth sports and healthy living.
The final match was attended by Father Zakaria Masoud — Priest of the Syriac Orthodox Mor Kyriakos Church in Zalin, Raymond Doshi — President of the Sports Federation of Hasakah, Nobar Elio — supervisor of the Mor Yacoub of Nisibis fraternity, and a number of members of the fraternity administration and the families of the players.
The match between the yellow and green team ended with the yellow team winning by two points.
