Syriac Military Council and Sutoro receiving training on cultural awareness, criticism, and self-criticism at Martyr Amara Center for Psychological Counseling in North and East Syria
TEL TAMR, Syria — A number of administrators in the Syriac Military Council (MFS) and Sutoro (Syriac Security Forces) in Tel Tamr in the Khabur River Valley in North and East Syria received cultural and intellectual training to enhance cooperation and coordination between fighters.
The training was conducted under the supervision of the Martyr Amara Center for Psychological Counseling and in coordination with the Relations Committee of the Syriac Military Council.
The courses included lectures on the concept of criticism and self-criticism — ‘a double-edged sword’ — tools requiring skill to be used properly.
The training is the first in a series to be conducted to improve and further professionalize the military and security forces in North and East Syria.
