Syrian Democratic Forces graduate 56 officers, including officers of the Syriac Military Council
RMELAN, Syria — The Martyr Lawrence Military Academy graduated 56 officers of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), including officers of the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulḥoyo Suryoyo, MFS), who had previously undergone a three-month training course, named Martyr Diab Rmelan, in the village of Kabka.
The course included intellectual lessons and military exercises.
The graduation ceremony was attended by MFS and SDF leaders from various regions of North and East Syria and began with a speech by leader Zanarin Qamishlo.
She congratulated the graduates and stressed the need to follow the path of martyrs. She also asked the graduates to apply the lessons they received during the training course in their military missions.
The graduates then swore the military oath, pledging to preserve the gains and martyrs’ sacrifices, as well as follow their path in defending people and the territory.
The graduation ceremony was concluded with Dabkeh folkloric dance and a play about the phenomenon of violence against women.
