Syrian Democratic Forces kill ISIS operative near Hasakah
HASAKAH, Syria — Spokesperson for the U.S.-led International Coalition Col. Wayne Marotto stated via Twitter that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) of North and East Syria carried out an operation in the vicinity of Hasakah city resulting in the death of a member of the Islamic State (ISIS).
He also added that the Coalition carried out two air strikes to support the SDF. “No civilians were killed as a result of the operation,” he confirmed.
Today the Syrian Democratic Forces conducted a raid in the vicinity of Hasakah, Syria which resulted in the death of one Daesh terrorist.

The SDF continue to pursue ISIS cells with the support of the Coalition. Two other operations, one south of Al-Hol and the other in the Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor) countryside, resulted in the arrest of an official for smuggling ISIS families and transferring them out of the camp.
