SYRIA: Woman and child injured in Turkish shelling of Tel Tamr countryside

TEL TAMR, Syria — A woman and her small child were injured in bombardment of Tel Tamr countryside by Turkish forces and their proxies in the Syrian National Army (SNA).

Aisha al-Hassan (40) and her 4-year-old son Salem were injured in the village of Al-Dardara northeast of Tel Tamr.

Tel Tamr is a main town of the primarily Syriac–Assyrian Khabur River Valley in North and East Syria.

A SuroyoTV correspondent in Tel Tamr indicated that the bombing targeted areas east of the town. Fearing the bombing, the residents left nearby villages. When they arrived near the Al-Salam Hall area just outside Tel Tamr, they were directly targeted by Turkish artillery.

The correspondent reported that al-Hassan and her son were wounded near Al-Salam Hall.
