HASAKAH, Syria — The Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development, which works to support development and humanitarian projects that serve the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and other minorities, carried out a green project for Martyr Zau Seng Stadium in the Al-Nasirah neighborhood in Hasakah city in North and East Syria.

The project took place with the cooperation and assistance of institutions of the Beth Nahrain National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB).

The stadium was built in cooperation with the Free Burma Rangers organization and was named after the martyr Zau Seng who was killed while helping to evacuate civilians from the city of Rish Ayno (Ras al-Ayn) during the October 2019 Turkish invasion.
