North and East Syria Executive Council Co-Chair Berevan Khaled: DAA and SDC delegation visit was result of official invitation by Paris
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria held a meeting with the Co-Chairs of the local administrative councils on Tuesday to discuss recent developments in the political situation in North and East Syria and Syria in general, as well as to evaluate the work done by the Executive Council and the local councils over the past several months.
The participants also stressed that the need to increase the work of the DAA and its local structures to combat the worsening economic situation in Syria.
There was a discussion on next year’s annual budgets, which will be submitted to the Finance Authority and approved by the end of the year.
During the meeting, Co-Chair of the Executive Council Berevan Khaled stated that the recent visit to France by a delegation consisting of DAA and Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) representatives came following an official invitation by the French government. The delegation discussed with French President Emmanuel Macron the political, military, and administrative issues in the region.
