IRAQ: Road asphalting continues in Baghdede in Nineveh Plains
BAGHDEDE, Iraq — The Mayor of Baghdede in Nineveh Plains in Iraq Issam Behnam Matti announced that road asphalting work will soon begin in the area.
Matti indicated that the project will be handled by the local branch of a foreign asphalt company in Baghdede.
Over half a kilometer of road towards the town of Karamlesh with be asphalted, in addition to roads leading to natural sights in the surrounding area.
The city’s one-lane road is also set to be expanded. The company began to renovate the narrow road with the participation and supervision of the Director of Nineveh Municipalities Raad al-Hadidi and the Director of Baghdede District Rami Sonj.
