Egypt sentences three to death for membership in ISIS
CAIRO — On Monday, three people were sentenced to death by an Egyptian court for membership in the Islamic State (ISIS) as the terrorist organization continues to target the Egyptian Army.
After the approval of the Mufti of Egypt, the First Terrorism Directorate headed by Counselor Muhamed Sherin Fahmy, sentenced three people being held in the Tora Courts complex in Cairo to death for joining ISIS and involvement in kidnappings and physical torture of Egyptian citizens to obtain ransoms from their relatives. The men were also reportedly involved in human trafficking and smuggling migrants.
