Members of Syrian regime killed and captured during ISIS attack in Al-Sukhna desert
DAYRO ZCURO, Syria — During an Islamic State (ISIS) attack on a bus carrying members of the Syrian regime, 13 members of the regime forces were killed and 5 others taken captive on the main road in Al-Sukhna desert, west of Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor).
According to military sources, the bus was transporting members of the regime from their Hmoth (Homs) to Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor).
After the attack, the Syrian regime brought military reinforcements to the scene to pursue the ISIS cells and search for the captured regime soldiers.
Recently, 11 members of the pro-Russian Al-Quds Brigade were also killed in the Syrian desert during an ISIS attack.
