Revitalizing the Nineveh Plains: Beth Nahrain Organization for Women organizes recreational trip for traumatized youth participating in drawing course

NINEVEH PLAIN, Iraq – The Beth Nahrain Organization for Women in Iraq has organized a recreational trip to the Syriac Orthodox Monastery of Mar Mattai for students of its eleventh drawing course in the Syriac town of Baghdede (Qaraqosh).

The Beth Nahrain Organization for Women conducts several psychological healing projects among youth traumatized by war and hardship, including a drawing course focused on expressing feelings, handling the effects of war on mental health, developing talents, and artistic skills.

The drawing course is made possible by the support of the Dutch organization Stichting Ismaël which financially supports psychological artistic projects, especially for young people.
