Delegation from Syria’s Green Party visits Syriac Union Party in Qabre Hewore (Al-Qahtaniyah)

QABRE HEWORE, Syria — The Syriac Union Party (SUP) received a delegation from the Green Party in Syria in the town of Qabre Hewore (Al-Qahtaniyah) on Wednesday. The visiting delegation included official of the Women’s Office Dalal al-Hashemi, official of the party’s Relations Committee Sherin Abbas, official of the party’s Organizing Committee Suleiman Ahmi, finance official Yousef Abdullah, and official of the Qabre Hewore office Ilham Hussein.

The visiting delegation was received by SUP official in Qabre Hewore Habib Ardish and SUP members George Youssef, Shamiram Danho, and Berola Yusef.

During the meeting, they discussed the importance of cooperation between the two parties, a mechanism to development this, and the necessity of continuing mutual visits. The two sides also discussed the current situation in North and East Syria and the economic siege imposed on it which has increased the suffering of Syrians.

Both sides stressed the importance of cooperation between all political parties in the region, as well as the cooperation between the people and the institutions of Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) to improve governance.
