Syrian Democratic Forces arrest sabotage cell linked to Turkish-backed groups
TABQA, Syria — The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced that it had arrested several operatives of the Turkish occupation and uncovered a large cache of ammunition, communication devices, military clothing, and official documents that they were using to undermine security in North and East Syria.
During the initial investigation, evidence was gathered confirming the suspects were in communication with Turkish intelligence.
The SDF indicated that the group impersonated fighters from the SDF and Internal Security Forces (ISF) to harass and attack the people of Tabqa city.
