IRAQ: Mayor of Hamdaniya Governorate follows up on three projects in Baghdede
BAGHDEDE, Iraq — The mayor of Hamdaniya Governorate, Eng. Essam Bahnam Matti, toured, alongside the head of Hamdaniya Council and the Director of the Hamdaniya Electricity Maintenance Center, a number of municipal projects currently underway.
One such recently launched project includes the paving of a main street. The mayor called on local residents, restaurants, and shops to ensure the street is clean and unblocked so that work can progress and people can walk in the area safely.
The mayor also visited the eastern entrance project of the Province Center, which includes the development of a 40-meter-wide and 750-meter-long street with a central green strip.
The municipality has also undertaken a project to establish a garden adjacent to Hamdaniya Hospital.
