********** STATEMENT **********
Today we celebrate the martyrs of the Beth Nahrin National Council, in memory of the martyrs of our righteous people who were martyred in the stages of the national struggle of our Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people led by the Beth Nahrin National Council in various countries.
The choice of October 10th came on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the first martyr of the Beth Nahrin Patriotic Union, the heroic martyr George Francis (Abkar) on October 10, 1999, which opened the road of martyrdom, so that the convoy of martyrs will continue after it, Among them are the heroic martyr Mikhail Judi, who was martyred on January 11, 2002, the martyrdom of the heroes Zuhair Yusuf Astifo and Louay Suleiman Noman on June 27, 2007, and the martyrdom of the hero Fawaz Abdelsalam Saied on February 8, 2017, as well as the martyrdom of dozens of fighting heroes in Beth Nahrin.
The pure souls of our martyrs from the Bethnahrin National Council, which flutters over Beth Nahrin for the cause of our people and their goals for freedom and democracy, will continue to provide us with determination to achieve the unity of our people.
The Beth Nahrin Patriotic Union and its masses pledge our righteous martyrs and our great people to continue their national and militant approach without despair and with great importance, to work for the stability of our people on their land and their homeland, to fight for the full rights of our people, as well as to continue to fight to build a federal democratic Iraq free of corruption and abhorrent sectarianism.
