TURKEY: House of Hope Hotel inaugurated in Bsorino in Tur Abdin
BSORINO, Turkey — According to Simon Güzel, an official from Bsorino village in Tur Abdin in southeast Turkey, a new hotel, the House of Hope, was recently inaugurated. The hotel was established by the local community to increase tourism and service visitors from the diaspora. Members of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) community, clergy, and village officials attended the opening.
The event was also attended by Yacoub Aslan Al Qas Gabriel and his wife Suad Aslan from Germany. The couple worked to collect funding for the hotel from the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) diaspora in Germany.
The hotel is equipped with double rooms that include en suite bathrooms, TVs, and air conditioning. The hotel has a common kitchen for all customers.
Güzel thanked the family of Al Qas Gabriel for their support in building this hotel. He also thanked the people of the villages of Tur Abdin for their participation in the opening event.
