SYRIA: Syrian Democratic Forces deny allegations by Turkish Ministry of Defense; al-Hol Military Council arrested a terrorist cell

AL-HOL, Syria – The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) of North and East Syria, via Twitter, denied the latest allegations by the Turkish Ministry of Defense claiming SDF forces attacked Turkish-occupied areas. 

“The Turkish Ministry of Defense has claimed that Syrian Democratic Forces fighters launched an attack on the Turkish-occupied areas, and that two SDF fighters were killed. This news is untrue, and there is no SDF movement in the mentioned areas,” the SDF Media Center stated in it stweet.

In related news, the al-Hol Military Council forces arrested a terrorist cell that carried out theft, intimidation of residents and displacement. Commander of al-Hol Military Council Sarhad Tirbê Spîyê confirmed to the official SDF Media Center that;

“after appeals and complaints from the camp’s residents, and at the request of the sheikhs of the region’s clans, the al-Hol Military Council forces raided the houses of the suspects in the villages of Dhiba and Bezara, located on the Hasakah-Tel Brak Road.”

“After collecting information, nine people, who possessed machine guns, ammunition and military clothing, were arrested. After investigations, 6 people were released and the 3 others were proven to be involved in these operations.”

The commander of the al-Hol Military Council appealed to people of the area to cooperate with the security and military authorities to face these terrorist cells.
