Delegation from the Martyrs’ Families Foundation and Sutoro Police Force visit families of martyrs on Christmas
A joint delegation from the Martyrs’ Families Foundation and the Sutoro Forces visited the families of martyrs in the city of Hasaka. They wished the families a merry and blessed Christmas, reviewed the families’ conditions to determine their needs, and listened to their suggestions regarding the future development of the foundation.
In cooperation and coordination with the Office of the Internal Security Forces, the Sutoro and the Women’s Sutoro, a delegation from the Assyrian Martyrs Families Foundation paid the visits to the families of martyrs in the city of Hasaka on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year.
During the visits, a discussion was held about the importance of the concept of martyrdom and the greatness of the sacrifices made by the martyrs so that the people are able to enjoy safety and celebrate the holidays in a safe manner. The martyrs sacrificed their pure souls in order to defend the homeland and expel any aggression that threatens the safety of their people and regions.
The families of the martyrs pointed out that on this land the blood of Syriacs, Arabs and Kurds was shed together, emphasizing the brotherhood and coexistence between these groups for decades. They also thanked the Martyrs’ Families Foundation for its initiative and the work it is doing for the families of the martyrs.
