Our Syriac people’s institutions hold Christmas celebrations for children in North and East Syria
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA— With the advent of Christmas and New Year, several institutions of our Syriac (Aramean-Assyrian-Chaldean) held celebrations for children.
The institutions included the Family Center, Naoum Faeq House for Culture and Art in Zalin (Qamishli), as well as the two kindergartens of the Syriac Women’s Union (SWU) in Al-Hasakah.
The celebrations included distributing gifts to the children with Christmas songs and dance.
It is not the first time that the institutions of the Beth Nahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB) held several celebrations in the various regions where our people exist.
