Mazloum Abdi extends Christmas congratulations to the Syriac people and praises the Syriac Military Council efforts

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — A delegation from the General Command of the Syriac Military Council (Mawthbo Folhoyo Suryoyo, MFS) of North and East Syria visited the General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Mazloum Abdi, who congratulated the Syriac (Aramean-Assyrian-Chaldean) people and the MFS leadership.

Abdi saluted the MFS resistance and protection of Tel Tamer and Al-Khabur Region, indicating that liberating the Turkish-occupied areas is the SDF priority in 2022, in addition to supporting the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria and continuing to fight terrorism.

The SDF spokesman Aram Hanna spoke about the pioneering role of our Syriac people, along with other components of the region, in presenting a national project that constituted an ideal model for resolving the Syrian crisis.

The MFS spokesman Matai Hanna, in turn, gave an overview of the field situation in the front of Tel Tamr and its countryside, amid the continued Turkish violations.

He confirmed the MFS resistance until victory is achieved and the rights of our Syriac (Aramean-Assyrian-Chaldean) people are obtained.

The visit was concluded by taking photos and Abdi’s greeting the MFS delegation in the Syriac language.
