Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani: Iran has contributed to killing half a million Syrians

TEHRAN — Iran Watch stated that Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani — women’s rights activist, former member of Iranian Parliament, and daughter of former Iranian president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani — revealed Iran’s involvement in killing nearly 500,000 people in Syria.

“It is unlikely that Israel killed between 100,000 and 200,000 Palestinians … We have killed more Muslims than Israel because of our wrong policies,” she stated, indicating that Iran’s internal and external policies are irrational.

“Like the Taliban, Iranian policies are based on propaganda,” said Rafsanjani. “Ibrahim is just a front and there are others behind the scenes who influence his decision.”
