Unknown explosion causes injuries in Tel Tamr, North and East Syria
TEL TAMR, Syria — An explosion took place in the Syriac–Assyrian village of Tel Juma’a, west of Tel Tamr in North and East Syria. A Suroyo TV correspondent in Tel Tamr stated that, according to preliminary information, that the cause behind the explosion is still unknown.
The correspondent indicated that the explosion resulted in a number of injuries to residents of the village.
He added that the injured were taken to the town hospital for treatment.
The village of Tel Juma’a has been repeatedly subjected to Turkish artillery shelling. The Tel Tamr Military Council reported several unexploded shells in the village and surrounding area.
