Syrian Democratic Forces of North and East Syria deny bombing Al-Bab city; Turkish forces reinforce their positions in Edleb countryside, Syria

AL-BAB, EDLEB, Syria —Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) issued a press release, denying what was circulated by some Turkish websites, that accused the SDF of bombing Al-Bab city in the countryside of Holeb (Aleppo).

“The SDF is not responsible for the bombing or any other similar events that the Turkish forces tried to fabricate, in conjunction with the terrorist attack by the Islamic state (ISIS) on Hasakah prison,” read the statement, indicating that the Turkish intelligence fabricated accusations aim to divide the Syrian society against its own components.

On Wednesday, the Turkish-occupied Al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Holeb (Aleppo) witnessed intense shelling with missiles, leading to deaths and injuries.

In related news, local sources revealed that the Turkish forces stationed in Edleb (Idlib) countryside have brought in reinforcements to their military points on the contact lines with the Syrian regime forces and Iranian militias, in the areas of Al-Bara, Kansafra and Benin, in Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Edleb (Idlib).

The reinforcements included tanks, armored vehicles and personnel carriers, amid mutual shelling between the armed opposition factions and the Syrian regime forces in that area.
