Interior authorities of Gozarto hold U.S. and Russia responsible for Turkish escalations; Syrian Democratic Forces divert their humanitarian supplies to Ghweran residents.
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA – A Turkish drone targeted a car in the Bahira village in the western countryside of Amuda this week. The Turkish strike killed an 11-year-old child and injured other civilians, according to the Internal Security Force’s (ISF) website.
In a statement on the attack, the Interior Authority of the Gozarto (Al-Jazira) region, which is part of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA), declared that: “The constant Turkish violations against the people of North and East Syria continue in populated areas.”
The statement indicated that the Turkish attacks took place amid silence of the guarantor countries concerned with the ceasefire between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) of North and East Syria and Turkey. As a result, the DAA Authority held the U.S. and Russia responsible for the Turkish violations to which the residents are exposed to in North and East Syria.
In related news, the SDF provided emergency aid, which is kept in reserve for its fighters, to the Hasakah residents who were affected by the attack of the Islamic State (ISIS) on Al-Sina’a Prison in Ghweran. The SDF Media Center said that their forces handed over the aid to the Hasakah Canton Council, to be distributed throughout the communities.
This is the third batch of aid provided by the SDF to the residents of Ghweran, Al-Zohour, and Al-Nashwa neighborhoods.
