Deputy Co-Chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration’s Foreign Relations Department Fener al-Keit: Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov’s statements are positive and encouraging

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA – Deputy Co-Chair of Foreign Relations Department of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria Fener al-Keit declared that the statements made by the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov about the Constitutional Committee in Syria and the need for the DAA participation, fully reflect the desired situation of Syria’s needs.

Al-Keit indicated that the Russian statements welcomed and consistent with the DAA’s vision about the need to see the Syrian situation as it really is, and the need for all Syrians to participate in dialogue, the Syrian political solution, and the drafting of the new constitution that guarantees a just and equal future for all Syrians.

Al-Keit reiterated the DAA’s readiness for any efforts to achieve the Syrian solution and consensus.

“The DAA welcomes the Russian role as a guarantor of stability,” he added, stressing that the components of North and East Syria are not supportive of any steps that prevent Syrian geographical and societal unity.

Yesterday, the head of the Syriac National Council and co-chief of the US Mission of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) in Washington, Bassam Said Ishak, also praised the statements of Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.
