Syriac Orthodox Church channel Suboro TV starts broadcasting from Beth Zalin

BETH ZALIN (QAMISHLI), Syria – On the third anniversary of the official launch of broadcasting, Syriac satellite channel Suboro TV, has now also started broadcasting programs from its new studios in Beth Zalin. Suboro TV officially opened its own studio in the northeastern Syrian city of Beth Zalin, Gozarto Region, on Annunciation Day, Friday, March 25. The new studio will produce local, national and international religious and cultural programs.

Syriac Orthodox Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II participated online in the opening ceremony and blessed the local team’s work. According to the Patriarchal website, he congratulated them on this next step in the 3 years after the official launch of the satellite channel. Mor Aphrem II expressed his hope that the local studios would further help deliver the Gospel and Word and Life to the homes of its viewers, strengthening their faith and bring them closer to their Syriac Orthodox Church.

Suboro TV is owned and funded by the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch and has studios in the patriarchal residence in Atchaneh, Lebanon, and in the patriarchal headquarters in Bab Touma, Daramsuq (Damascus). The programs of Suboro TV in Zalin were previously recorded at the studios of Syriac satellite channel Suroyo TV. The officials and cadres of Suroyo TV, of which SyriacPress is an affiliate, extend their congratulations to Suboro TV on the opening of their new studios in Beth Zalin (Qamishli).
