Austria: Syriac Christian Motelli wins bodybuilding competition

WELS, Austria — The young Syriac Christian Motelli has won first place in the category Men’s Classic Physique Junior in a domestic bodybuilding competition. The competition took place on Saturday, April 30, in the city of Wels in Upper Austria.

Motelli took first place in the presence and encouragement of many Syriacs. Afterwards, Christian celebrated the victory where the athlete held up the Syriac flag, proud of his victory as a representative of the Syriac people.

Several thousand Syriacs live in Austria, most of them in and around Vienna.
