Holy Communion for 42 children in the Mor Adday Chaldean Church in Sweden
JÖNKÖPING, Sweden — On Saturday, the Mor Adday Chaldean Church in Jönköping, Sweden celebrated the Holy Communion of 42 youngsters, according to Ishtar TV.
The Holy Liturgy began with prayers, hymns and readings from the Gospels, which were given by the youngsters in the Chaldean, Swedish and Arabic languages.
During his sermon, the Church’s pastor Fadi Isho addressed the youngsters and their families, and talked about the importance of this occasion and its meaning.
“The Holy Communion leads to a new life of faith,” said the pastor, stressing the need for continuous communication with the Church whose prosperity and continuity depends on the new generation.
He extended his congratulations to the youngsters and wished them and their families a Christian life full of blessings.
Then, the youngsters were given the Holy Communion during special prayers.
