Syriac youth contracts with one of the best football clubs in The Netherlands

AMSTERDAM — Michael Lahdo is a Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) footballer. He started playing football with the Arameiska team in Norsborg, Sweden. He then moved to the Swedish Hammarby team.

His father Johnny Lahdo told Suroyo TV that his son Michael loved playing football since his childhood and even during his studying of economics.

He traveled to the Netherlands and started football lessons with a new team. He had received offers from different clubs in the Netherlands and Denmark, but he chose to join AZ Alkmaar team, which is classified as one of the best clubs in the Netherlands.
