Syriac Women’s Union visits Syriac–Assyrian families in Khabur area in North and East Syria
TEL TAMR, Syria — As part of the support provided to people in the villages of the Khabur River Valley in North and East Syria, the Syriac Women’s Union (SWU) visited several families residing in the predominately Syriac–Assyrian town of Tel Tamr.
The visits of the SWU delegation included a person who was injured as a result of the Turkish attacks on the Khabur. During the attack, he suffered a serious leg injury which ultimately led to amputation.
The visiting delegation wished a speedy recovery for all those injured and otherwise affected by the Turkish attacks and prayed to God to protect the Syriac–Assyrian people in their historical homeland.
