LEBANON: Zahle Development Coordination Committee holds event for children

ZAHLE, Lebanon — The Zahle Development Coordination Committee, which includes the Universal Syriac Union Party (USUP), National Liberal Party, Lebanese Forces, Phalanges (Kataeb Party), Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Tashnag), and Lebanon Youth Movement Association, organized a celebration for the children of Zahle at USUP headquarters.

Gifts were distributed to the children by the International Child Association.

The event was attended by officials and public figures, including representative of Minister of Industry in the caretaker government Khajak Balonian, representative of Archimandrite George Saada Archbishop Anthony Souri, Mayor of Zahle Assaad Zgheib, representative of the International Child Association Andrew Haddad, USUP coordinator in Zahle Branch Sandra Kfoury, and other economic and social representatives.
