The Higher Committee for Christian Education in Iraq holds a talents course for primary school children

BAGHDAD – With the aim of discovering and developing the children’s talents, the Higher Committee for Christian Education in Iraq – the Baghdad and Basra Committee, held a talents course for children of the 4th, 5th and 6th grades of the primary school.

About 100 talented children from the primary stage participated in the course, which was supervised by 17 teachers from 9 churches.

The course was held last Monday and Tuesday, in the Church of the Sacred Heart in the Tahariyat Square.

The course program included a prayer by the Salt of the Earth team, and a lecture by pastor of the Church of the Sacred Heart Father Amir Kamo on human and spiritual talents.

The children worked in groups according to their talents, which included, reciting hymns, drawing, making cold ceramics, handicrafts and recycling.

At the end of the course, the groups’ work was presented, and a closing prayer was held.
