Bethnahrain Patriotic Union in Iraq holds an organizational camp

NINEVEH PLAINS, Iraq — Under the slogan “Our National Struggle is the Hope of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people to Obtain Their Legitimate Rights”, the Bethnahrain Patriotic Union Party (Huyodo d-Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA) held an organizational camp for the HBA members.

The three-day camp lasted from 12 to 14 July at Mor Mattai Monastery in Nineveh Plains, Iraq.

About 40 HBA members from Ankawa, Baghdede, Bartella, Nohadra (Duhok), and Alqosh participated in the camp.

The first day of the camp began with a welcome speech by the education official of the Beth Nahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB) covering Iraq.

Several lectures were given on the general situation in Iraq, the experience of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) in North and East Syria, the MUB organizational and administrative structure, and the MUB struggle in Iraq.

The MUB education official in Iraq extended his deep thanks to Syriac Orthodox Archbishop of the Diocese of Mor Mattai’s Monastery and its Environs Timotheus Mousa Shamani for facilitating the camp.
