French delegation visits North and East Syria
ZALIN, Syria — Earlier this week, a French delegation visited the Foreign Relations Commission of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) in North and East of Syria.
The delegation was headed by former French Foreign Minister Bernard Kuchner, writers Patrice Franceschi and Roxan Dimizonov, and DAA Representative in France Khaled Issa.
During the delegation’s visit to the DAA Executive Council of Gozarto (Jazira) Region, they were accompanied by Deputy Co-Chair of the Foreign Relations Commission Khaled Ibrahim.
The visiting delegation was received by Executive Council Co-Chairs Nazira Goreya and Talaat Yunis, their deputies Ali al-Goud and Ahin Swed, and DAA Adviser in Gozarto Region Jihan Khalil.
The parties discussed the latest developments in North and East Syria and emphasized the French government’s support for the DAA in the face of Turkish threats and encroachments.
