SDF anti-terror units prevent attack in Dayro Zcuro, North and East Syria

DAYRO ZCURO, Syria — The Anti-Terror Unit (Yekîneyên Antî Teror, YAT) of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) successfully prevented a terrorist attack in Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor), North and East Syria, being planned by the Islamic State (ISIS). The attack was broken up after monitoring the movements and communications of an ISIS operative.

The YAT prevented the operative from carrying out terrorist operations that were planned to target military forces and and civil administrations cadres in the region.

The unit raided the operatives house and arrested him, seizing weapons and communications equipment that he had in his possession, according to the SDF official website.
