Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria: Turkey seeks to destabilize and depopulate the region for its own gain
TEL ZIWAN, Syria — The village of Tel Ziwan in the eastern countryside of Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, was bombed by the Turkish forces on Tuesday.
The Internal Security Forces (ISF) in North and East Syria issued a statement indicating that Turkish forces have escalated their bombing and targeted of residents of Tel Ziwan village in recent days.
The ISF stated that four Turkish artillery shells targeted the lands surrounding Tel Ziwan village which led to the outbreak of a fire near the houses of village residents
The ISF statement accused Turkey of seeking to displace the people along the Turkey–Syria border through its attacks with the ultimate goal of settling the area with populations loyal to it.
