Seven injured, including children, in Turkish shelling of Tel Rifaat, Syria

TEL RIFAAT, Syria — Daily Turkish violations continue in Syrian territory despite recent U.S. pressure on Turkey over its plans to invade the region.

On Thursday, the Turkish Army and its proxies in the Syrian National Army (SNA) bombed the Tel Rifaat with rockets.

A medical source from Tel Rifaat Hospital told North Press Agency that seven people, including four children, were injured. One of the children remains in serious condition.

“Shrapnel went into the skull of one of the children,” said the source. “His condition is critical and he will be sent to the Aleppo Hospital.

A separate source told North Press Agency that a drone bombed several areas close to each other. The bombing took place near the Syrian Army military point in the city, which was targeted by a drone earlier.

It was reported that the bombing targeted the market area with explosions ocurring between abandoned houses and near the Tel Rifaat school.

On Wednesday, Turkish forces and the SNA bombed the hill of Mayasya village in Cafrin’s Sherawa District.
