Civilian casualties in intense shelling from across Turkish border targeting villages around Amuda, Darbasiyah, Qabre Hewore (Qahtaniyah), and Zalin (Qamishli) in North and East Syria
ZALIN, Syria — Villages in the countryside of Amuda, Darbasiyah, and Zalin (Qamishli) in North and East Syria along the Turkish border were subjected to intense artillery shelling coming from Turkish territory.
Several shells fell directly in residential neighborhoods in Zalin resulting in civilian casualties.
The villages of Rotan, Tel Jahan, and al-Shalhoumiyya in the countryside of Qabre Hewore were also targeted.
