Syriac Military Council announces martyrdom of two fighters in Turkish shelling
TEL TAMR, Syria — In a statement released on Friday evening, the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulḥoyo Suryoyo, MFS) announced the martyrdom of two fighters, Yûsif Mihsin el-Mitras and Radî Mizel el-Osman. They were martyred by Turkish artillery shelling on the villages of Dardara and Qabr al-Qarajneh in the Tel Tamr countryside in the predominantly Syriac–Assyrian Khabur River Valley.
In its statement, MFS General Command condemned Turkey’s repeated violations of international agreements and UNSC resolutions concerning Syria. Turkish attacks continue to target the civilian infrastructure of the cities and towns of North and East Syria, displacing thousands of families, read the statement.
The MFS closed the statement by renewing its commitment to defending the homeland and honoring the path of its martyrs.
