Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian activist receives 2022 Bridge Building Award

ILLINOIS, US — Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian engineer and Vice Chair of the Assyrian Political Institute (API) Atour Sargon won the Decalogue Society of Lawyers and Arab American Bar Association of Illinois 2022 Bridge Building Award.

The API congratulated Sargon, who is the first Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian woman to be elected to the Board of Trustees of Lincolnwood, Illinois, and the first Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian woman to be elected to political office in Illinois.
